Homemade Granola
The warmer weather has me craving more cold snacks like yogurt and berries and with that I need a crunch!
I wanted to come up with a quick and easy granola recipe that allowed me to control my ingredients because… I have a hard time controlling my serving size.
Feel free to mix in other ingredients like raisins and coconut!
Ingredients:
-315g Oats (Rolled or Quick)
-30g Almonds (sliced)
- 4 tbsp Raw Flaxseed
- 4 tbsp Coconut oil, Liquid
- 5 tbsp Honey
-1 tsp ground cinnamon
-1 teaspoon vanilla
Instruction:
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
-In a large bowl, combine oats and sliced almonds. In a small bowl, stir together honey, oil, cinnamon and vanilla. Drizzle over oat mixture; mix well.
- Spread evenly in 13 x 9 x 2‑inch baking pan.Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 5 minutes.
-Remove from the oven and enjoy!
**Store tightly covered for up to 2 weeks**
Servings size came out to 1/4 heaping cup and yielded 16 servings
